It's the weekend, but don't sleep in too late!!!

In our quest to bring you some new music that we think is definitely hot and highlight some artists who aren't as well known we bring you our weekly post known as:

"Slept on Saturdays." Here we'll either be highlighting specific songs, albums or even artist as a whole.





This week we chose to highlight artist Conya Doss....For those of you not familiar with Ms. Doss let us take you to school :-) I have yet to hear one song from her that I haven't liked!!! Think of Mary J., Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu and even Jill Scott....like those ladies?!? Well Conya's voice is a nice blend of all of the above and still unique enough to stand out. She has been on the music scene for 7 years and has just released her 4th Studio Album "Still" (sidebar: I'm headed to Circuit City once I get off today!) Again I say, I have yet to hear one song I haven't liked, but if I must choose a favorite it would have to be: "Let You Know", "What I'd Do For You", and "Find a Way"....all of which i'll attach as a youtube vid for you to check out.

The Pooper Scooper

You might be thinking "Awww look at this cute face"...well this cute face is going to be the source of my national embarassment very soon, LOL! This is my son Carson. As I said earlier in the blog the TV Guide crew was at my apartment today to film me with the babies and what not for the reality show I'm in, "Making News: Savannah Style". I was changing their diapers after they ate and of course TV Guide was filming all of this too. I changed Cameron's diaper, no problem. Got to Carson and as soon as I pulled his dirty diaper off of him and went to reach for the clean diaper I noticed that he was starting to poop, so, in my effort to think quick, I decide to catch the poop with my hand before it hit the sofa (why I did this I still don't know...clearly if it got on the sofa it wouldn't have been the end of the world). Needless to say we were laughing hysterically after it happened (at the same time we were all slightly disgusted)...But I think it was just the mommy in me that made me do it...I must have been thinking "Oh well, he's my baby...I can catch his poop in my hand).

Now after the fact, all I can think about is that embarrassing mommy moment being on the show this summer. On top of that it makes me a candidate for my greatest fear...ending up on "Talk Soup" or "Best Week Ever" for my less than genius moment (I can hear the jokes now). But you know what, it's all good, at least everyone will get a good laugh and my sofa's safe...for now!

Don't Try This at Home

What in the hell is Jamie Lynn Spears doing on a four wheeler while pregnant (and with no helmet or anything)?! Ladies and gentlemen, please don't let your daughters watch "Zoey 101", or this is who they are looking up to...Get it together chick!

A "Major" Arrival

T.I. and Tiny welcomed their second son into the world shortly after midnight Friday. They named him Major Harris. Major is T.I.'s fifth child and second with Tiny. They have another son together, King, who is 3 years old.

Congrats to the both of them...but Major?...and King?...REALLY?!

"Making News: Savannah Style" Update

This is just a quick update...The air date for the first episode of "Making News: Savannah Style" will be Wednesday, June 4 at 8 p.m.

By the way the TV Guide crew just left my apartment like 2 hours ago...they were following up with me to get a post-pregnancy interview and shots of the me and the babies in our everyday life.

Bringin' his "A" Game

Model turned singer turned actor Tyrese is rumored to be playing the iconic B.A. Baracus in "The A-Team" movie. The iconic character was made famous by Mr. T back in the '80s. John Singleton is directing the movie and Tyrese has admitted that the role is not guaranteed to him yet.

Sooo, since they're updating the movie will B.A. still rock all that gold jewelry...or will he go platinum with lots of bling? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

More Than A Woman

So word on the street is that Canadian songstress Keshia Chante has been casted to play Aaliyah in the biopic set to start shooting sometime in August. Before Chante it was rumored that video chick Destiny Lightsy would play Aaliyah...no matter who portrays her one thing is for sure...they'll never be another Aaliyah!!!...R.IP...on that note I decided I'd post one of my favorite Aaliyah videos, "Are You That Somebody"

Making News: Savannah Style

So this morning I was talking to my girl Clarissa on Google Talk and I realized that I hadn't told a lot of my friends about what will be my reality TV debut...I know what you're thinking..."REALITY TV?! That's so trashy"....but fear not...I'm not trying to win Flavor Flav's heart or joining the Bad Girls Club. Let me explain. Over the past 6 months TV Guide has been following some of the staff at WJCL/Fox 28 TV for what will be 13 one-hour episodes. The show is called "Making News: Savannah Style." There was one previous season of the show..."Making News: Texas Style" (if you want to check out a few episodes here's the link:

This season they picked 7 people at the station to feature and low and behold I am one of them! Clearly I don't know exactly how the episodes will be put together but I already am pretty sure of how I will be portrayed. When they came to interview our station I'd recently found out I was pregnant with twins...on top of that I was producing 3 shows (the 7, 10 & 11pm news) by myself...and did I mention that I WAS a contestant in the Miss Georgia USA pageant (obviously when I found out I was pregnant I had to forget about that...but you know what, my babies are one of the best things that ever happened to me, so who cares about Miss Georgia?)



Anyways just wanted you all to be aware. The first show is airing June 4 or 8 (not sure which date, getting conflicting information...when I know for sure I'll post it)...I Definitely want you guys to watch and give me feedback...it should be pretty entertaining. If nothing else you can laugh at me...I'm sure they've got something on camera that is sure to embarrass me.

Twins...How Many of Us Have Them?!

Well...Brangelina's tribe continues to grow at an extraordinary pace...Jolie confirmed that she is expecting twins on the "Today" show. This will be babies # 5 & 6 for Brad and Angelina. Why is everyone having twins these days?! Oh yeah, in vitro!!! I had mine naturally though, LOL!

"Brianna Needs Some Lovin"

So once again the "Real World Hollywood" kept me thoroughly entertained...yet pissed all at the same time. Because I have lots of random thoughts on the show I'll list them out:

• First of all I guess I just missed that episode, but apparently Kim and Dave have been hooking up on a regular...I find that quite amusing considering the moral high horse that Kim and Sarah PRETEND to be on.


• Once again Greg is acting like the Man of the Year, LMAO...sounded pretty desperate tells some designer he wants to be in his show and he's a good model...but personally when I saw him in the fashion show i thought he was DTM (doing too much)...what was that jacket move?! It looked like he was using some nunchucks...and why in the HELL was he getting a pedicure??? And once again he's slipping on the job showing up for class late...despite all his mess I still think he's SUPER cute!


• Meanwhile, Kim's ass gets all mad b/c Dave brings a chick home after she rejects him at the club...serves her ass right


• Brianna decides she needs to get laid so she brings JoJo home although she said she was pretty much finished with him...hey I'm not hating...but of course Kim and Sarah were...Sarah went as far as to go call her mom...WAAAH WAAAH...go cry to your mommy...they also decide to be childish and hide Brianna's makeup and stuff because she apparently leaves it out all the time. Why not just ask her to start putting it up??? I really DON'T LIKE those girls...but like a dummy Brianna plays kiss and makeup with them once again...PHONY


• As for Will...he's into the whole music thing so he gets to meet with Sticky Fingaz formerly of Onyx...Sticky seems interested in at least one of Will's beats but still sends him back to the drawing board...Not too thrilling but Will is SUPER cute too so I thought I'd mention him :-)

Okay that's all I think is worth mentioning....Oh Joey's ass is still in rehab...THANK GOODNESS...I hope they teach him how to man up while he's there...

"It's Not All About You"

Time now for my take on the not so exciting yet I can't get enough of it world of "The Hills." Monday night was the season finale of the show. Here's a quick breakdown of what happened:

• Heidi moved to Las Vegas for work...Spencer's slimy ass follows her there with his sister in tow and asked her to come back to L.A. with him...Heidi, like a big dummy, goes back....SURPRISE, SURPRISE (not)



• Three's apparently not company & just a crowd as the tension between Lauren, Lo and Audrina continues to be thick enough to cut with a knife...



• Finally, Lauren decides to go talk to Audrina...Audrina proceeds to tell her she thinks Lo is making them grow apart...Lauren takes Lo's side (of course)...Audrina lets Lauren know it's not all about her...and as always, Lauren cries (she really needs to stop being such a sensitive friend)

And that's the season finale of "The Hills." Exciting right?...RIIIIIIGHT

Not Another Blog...

Okay so you're probably sitting there reading this and thinking "Oh great...ANOTHER BLOG!" But chill out, you shouldn't be so pessimistic, because this one might actually be WORTH READING. Shri and I decided to start TICKLED PINK because there are SO MANY RANDOM THINGS that we talk about every day. Today alone we've pondered everything from why some employers ask for SALARY REQUIREMENTS on resumes (you might end up cheating yourself out of what they would've paid you) to what the hell is going on in MARIAH CAREY'S head (for real Mariah...Nick Cannon?! We'll give that marriage a month tops.) So we figured, hey... why not start our own blog? It's still a WORK IN PROGRESS, but we want to talk about a little of EVERYTHING. Celebrity gossip, music, sports, entertainment...all from a female's perspective. Not to mention the latest happenings in the ATL. Just bear with us as we try to make our VISION become a REALITY.
